Description

Hambridge Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse located in Curry Rivel. It is constructed of coursed and squared lias stone, with a double-Roman tiled roof featuring a crested ridge and coped verge. A brick stack rises from the roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and originally had two bays. It features 3- and 4-light stone-mullioned windows with labels; the first-floor windows have iron casements and leaded lights. A central door opening is flanked by a 19th-century panelled door with the top two panels glazed. In November 1986, an extension was being added to the left side of the farmhouse, designed to match the existing style.
