Description
Manor House is a semi-detached house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of Ham stone ashlar with a Welsh slate roof that has stone slate base courses and coped gables, along with ashlar chimney stacks. The building has two storeys with attics and features a five-bay north elevation. Notable architectural details include a plinth, a dentilled cornice, and end pilasters. The windows are 12-pane sash types set within architraves, with the central first-floor window adorned with scroll decoration on the sides. In the third bay, there is a six-panel door framed by a stone surround, which has attached Ionic columns, an entablature, and a balustraded panel beneath the window. There are 20th-century garages and an extension on the east gable. The formal five-bay south elevation is also noteworthy. The interior has not been seen, but this section is part of a larger house that previously included Little Manor and West Manor, incorporating all the principal rooms.
