Description
This building is a barn and stables located about 15 metres northeast of Manor Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from local lias stone that is roughly squared and coursed, topped with a hipped double Roman clay tile roof, which features one coped gable. The structure has an L-plan layout and follows a traditional barn pattern, with central doorways. The west side is plain, while the east side has a projecting hipped roofed porch, flanked by extensions with catslide roofs. Inside, there are collar trusses and two purlins on each slope, along with stone flag floors. This building contributes to the overall setting of the Manor Farm complex.
