Description
Bath Lodge to Farleigh Castle, built around 1850, is a lodge constructed from random rubble Doulting stone, featuring ashlar quoins and bracketted, embattled parapets. This two-storey building is designed in a Military-Tudor style and includes circular embattled angle turrets, as well as an octagonal stair turret that has three stages, slit and crusiform window openings, and a bracketted, embattled parapet. The lodge also has stone mullion and transom window frames, along with a projecting two-light stone mullion window topped with an embattled parapet and diamond leaded panes. The main entrance is marked by a four-centred arch within a square head surround, leading to heavy studded lattice gates. There is also a side entrance featuring a four-centred arch with a drip mould. The flank walls consist of coursed rubble stone, forming quadrant embattled walls with intermediate circular towers and square corner towers.
