Description

The base of the churchyard cross, located 5 metres southeast of the tower of the Church of Saint Peter, is likely from the 15th century. It is made of Doulting stone and features an octagonal base step with a heavy moulded nosing, a plain second step, and a plain panelled octagonal socket for the cross shaft. This information is referenced in Pooley's "Old Crosses of Somerset," published in 1877.
