Description

Downings Farmhouse is an early to mid-19th century farmhouse situated on Tatworth Street in Tatworth. The building is constructed of random rubble local stone, with dressings in Ham stone. It features quoins and flat surrounds to the window openings, a slate roof with coped verges, and brick stacks to the gable ends. The farmhouse has a double pile plan. The main facade has two storeys and three bays, with a 12-pane sash window on the first floor. A central gabled porch provides access to a panelled inner door.
