Description
The gate piers, side walls, and piers located about 180 metres north of the Church of St Mary date from the mid-18th century. They are constructed from ashlar Doulting stone and feature a pair of square rusticated piers topped with moulded square caps and blocking courses. The piers have rectangular panels adorned with guttae ornamentation. The ashlar 'quadrant' walls have moulded levels and flat top copings that curve down to lower height piers. There are also lengths of similar straight walling on each side leading to similar end piers.
