Description

This is a boundary stone located in Stoke St Michael, dating from the mid-18th century. It is made of limestone and features a two-sided design with a half-round top. The stone measures approximately 500 millimeters wide and 1.25 meters high. On the west side, it is inscribed with "SHEPTON PARISH DONIN 1766," while the east side reads "STOKE PARISH 1766." The stone has been previously listed twice in the parish of Ashwick.
