Description

Sycamore House is a house in a row located on Tor Street in Wells. It features a 19th-century facade that covers a 17th-century building. The exterior is rendered and has a triple roll clay tiled roof with coped gables and brick chimney stacks at both ends. The house is three storeys high and has two bays. It has a plinth and sash windows with 12 panes on the ground and first floors, and 9 panes on the second floor. The lower bay includes a 6-panel door with a timber doorcase that has a moulded architrave and a pediment hood supported by console-type brackets. The interior has not been inspected.
