Description

Palace Stream Bridge is a road bridge over a stream, constructed in 1765 by the Wells Trust. It features random local stonework and has 2 small semicircular arches. The bridge is supported by a large central stone pier with a roughly formed cutwater on the east side. The walls, which are 2 meters high, extend along both sides of Tor Street, hiding the bridge from public view. There are stone sett underchannels and a small metal grating at pavement level on the east side.
