Description
The Manor is a manor house dating from the late 16th century, constructed of random rubble with three rubble ridge stacks and a pantile roof. It is designed as a cross passage house and features two storeys with three bays. The windows are three-light stone-mullioned with chamfered edges, set under stopped labels, except for a four-light window to the right on the first floor. The ground floor has four window openings, three of which have relieving arches. The door opening is nearly central and features a 12-panelled door with a narrow transom light above. A prominent rubble buttress is located to the left of the front.
The rear elevation is cement rendered and includes three-light chamfered stone-mullioned windows, with the left window on the first floor likely dating from the 16th century. There is a four-centred arch door opening in a moulded stone surround, which is obscured by a 20th-century extension. Inside, there is a fireplace with a moulded four-centred stone surround in the right ground floor room, along with two smaller similar fireplaces on the first floor and a narrow fireplace with a flat lintel.
