Description

The gateway at the entrance to the churchyard opposite the west doorway of the Church of St. James is a mid-19th century structure. It features a pair of square ashlar piers topped with pyramid caps, and a pair of wrought-iron gates adorned with spear ornamentation. There is also a lamp overthrow with decorative scrollwork and an original lantern-case, although the internal works are missing.
