Description

This is an early 19th-century servants’ dwelling, now a house. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick, with some rat-trap bond and colourwashing. The roof is hipped and covered with double-Roman tiles, with brick stacks. The rectangular building has two storeys and two bays, featuring 16- and 20-pane sash windows with exposed sash boxes, and cambered heads with brick voussoirs. A central door opening is accessed by a plank door.

Attached to the right is a run of walling constructed in English garden wall bond, varying in height between 2 and 3 metres. It has a freestone capping and extends approximately 50 metres southeast along the roadside, terminating in three sloping buttresses. A further section of walling is attached to the left, with a doorway and plank door. The walling forms part of a group with a section of walling to the north.
