Description

The front boundary wall located west of Number 25 (The Dean's Lodging) is a boundary wall that likely dates from the 17th century, with some parts from the 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble and stands about 2 meters high. The wall features a thin moulded ashlar coping and a chamfered ashlar gateway that has an early 19th-century pediment opposite the main doorway. There is also a small gateway at the north end, which has a slight upsweep. This wall is significant for both the setting of Number 25 and the overall streetscape.
