Description

Diggory is an early 19th-century house built in a Tudor style. It features coursed and squared lias stone, a slate roof with coped verges, and brick ridge stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, with 2-light wooden mullioned and transomed casements that have closely set glazing bars. A gabled central porch adds to its character, featuring a coping and a semi-circular head outer door opening. Inside, there is an inner doorway with a panelled door and a fanlight with radiating glazing bars. At the rear, there is a wing that extends at right angles. The house is incorrectly marked on the Ordnance Survey map as Lower Willtown Farmhouse.
