Description

The House of Mr Scott is a mid-18th century house located on the east side of Cleasby The Green. It features a roughcast exterior and a pantile roof, with two storeys and two first-floor windows. There is an added rear range that is likely from the same period. The entrance has a central board door, with a 24-pane window to the left and a 20-pane window to the right; both are fixed light windows but have opening casements. The first-floor windows consist of 3-light and 2-light side-sliding sashes. The left side has a raised verge, and the left end stack has been rebuilt. The roof is a two-span design.
