Description

Red Bridge is an early 19th-century bridge featuring a single segmental arch made of rusticated voussoirs. The channels extend to fill the spandrels. It has a band and a solid parapet that sweeps out to end in circular piers topped with domical caps. The ashlar of the parapet is designed with horizontally grooved rustication, resembling corduroy work.
