Description

The Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, built in 1818, is located on the north side of Main Street in Appleton Roebuck. It features a pinkish-brown exterior with an ashlar plaque that reads 'WESLEYAN / 1818 / CHAPEL'. The chapel is a single tall storey with three bays. The central entrance consists of a double door with six fielded panels and a radial fanlight set under a round arch. The windows are four-pane round-arched sashes, and the building has a hipped roof.
