Description
Nos 1 to 4 Princess Place are early 19th-century buildings that stand two storeys high with attics, constructed in ashlar stone. They feature a slate roof and four sloped dormers, each with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars. The buildings have stone kneelers and a plinth, as well as rusticated stone quoins. There are four windows with stone arches and wooden frames, also double-hung sashes with glazing bars, accompanied by fielded shutters on the ground floor. The paired doorways have six-fielded doors and are accessed by two steps. The rear elevation is similar to the front, but the doorways have pedimented hoods supported by consoles. The upper windows are topped with stone flat arches. Nos 1 to 7 Princess Place form a group.
