Description

Number 8 Bagdale is an early to mid 18th century building that stands two storeys tall and is constructed of brick with rusticated quoins. It features a new pantile roof and a modillion eaves cornice. The façade has four windows, including two sashes with a keystone on the left and sliding sashes on the right, along with a sash window located above the entrance door. The entrance is accentuated by a Doric portico that has a triglyph frieze and cornice, leading to a six-panel door and five steps up. There is an iron railing enclosing the basement and a cobbled forecourt in front of the building. Inside, the property boasts two well-finished panelled rooms and a mahogany well staircase.
