Description

This is a statue located in the gardens approximately 10 metres from the west side of the stables at Ribston Hall. It dates from the 18th century and is made of lead, standing on a square stone plinth. The statue features a reclining putto holding an owl and a scroll, along with two putti that are carrying bats. The figure holding the bats is also grasping drapery, while the other two figures are depicted as naked.
