Description

No. 9 St Hilda's Street is a house in a terrace of five, built in 1847 as indicated by the datestone. The house is constructed of brown brick in English garden wall bond and features a pantile roof. It is two stories tall with a one-window front. To the left, there is a boarded door next to a two-light, 24-pane horizontal-sliding sash window with a painted stone sill. A similar window is located on the first floor to the left, which has a painted timber lintel. The ground-floor openings have painted wedge lintels, and there is a stack at the left end. Above the door to No. 7, there is a datestone inscribed with "W S 1847."
