Description

The garden walls and gatepiers to the Abbey House date from 1811. The old garden walls feature a significant amount of carved stonework from the 12th and 13th centuries. In front of the main elevation, there are a pair of late 17th-century gatepiers, one of which is adorned with a griffin crest, marking the original entrance to the late 17th-century house.
