Description

This is an 18th-century building of rendered construction with a pantile roof, which is taller than the adjacent number 8. It comprises three storeys and has a parapet. The building features two windows per floor, each with moulded architraves and double-hung sashes lacking glazing bars. A continuous band runs along the window cills. The 19th century and modern shop fronts occupy the ground floor. Number 11 has a band above the first-floor windows. A six-panel door, with two glazed panels, is located to the right, above a blocked Gothic fanlight and surmounted by an open pedimented hood supported by consoles and a dentil cornice. Number 12 lacks a parapet and features one flat-topped dormer window. Numbers 8 to 12 form a group.
