Description
This is a former pigeoncote, dating from the mid- to late 18th century. It originally served Old Hall Farm, and is now an annexe to 2, Old Hall Farm. The building is constructed primarily of pinkish-brown brick with a magnesian limestone plinth, ashlar dressings, and a stone slate roof. It has a square plan and a single bay. A prominent first-floor ashlar band runs around the building. A blind Diocletian window is located on the front elevation, with a similar window partly-opened to the side. A cogged eaves band is present, and the roof is hipped. Inside, wooden nesting boxes are located on the first floor.
