Description
St Hilda is a late 18th-century, three-storey red brick mansion located at No. 17 St Hilda's Terrace. The building features stone rusticated quoins and a band that runs along the heads and cills of the second-floor windows. It has two dormers and five widely spaced sash windows, with a pediment over the central three windows that includes a round window in the tympanum. There are pilasters on either side of the central projection. A painted glazed porch from the 19th century appears to enclose the original doorway. St Hilda is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 25, along with a garden wall and gatepiers, contributing to the overall group value of St Hilda's Terrace.
