Description
The hay barn, located approximately 100 metres north-east of Easingtown Barn, is likely from the early 19th century and was built for the Cradock family of Hartforth Hall. The structure is made of rubble with Welsh slate roofs. It features a three-bay main range and a lower single-bay lean-to on the east side. The left end of the main range and the right end of the lean-to have quoins. The main range includes three straight-headed full-height openings with quoins between the separating piers, and there is a doorway in the lean-to. The main range has a hipped roof, and the left return has three slit vents. This barn is designed similarly to the hay barn located north of Hartforth Hall and Brooms Field Barn.
