Description

Rose Cottage is an early to mid-19th century brick cottage located on the east side of The Square in Aldborough. The cottage is built of pale brown local brick, with a renewed pantile roof featuring raised verges and end chimneys. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance is accessed via a six-panel door surmounted by an oblong fanlight. The windows are sash windows with rendered splayed lintels. The cottage is listed primarily for its group value in conjunction with Castle House and Hall Farmhouse.
