Description

Stansfield House is a house dating from 1752, with later alterations. It is pebbledashed, with a stone slate roof. The house has three storeys and two bays. It features quoins and coped gables with kneelers. The doorway is constructed of large, slightly chamfered stones, now with a modern door. A datestone above the doorway bears the initials "IS.IW" and the date "1752". A small, 19th-century canted bay window with a lead roof is on the right-hand side of the ground floor. A single window on the second floor has four very small lights. The remaining windows are two-light designs with flush square stone mullions. Gable chimneys are present.
