Description

The gate piers and wall lie to the north of Howgrave Hall. They date from the late 17th or early 18th century and are constructed mainly of red brick with stone dressings. The two gate piers are square, with rusticated surfaces, stone cornices, and blocking courses. The wall runs approximately 15 metres between the piers and extending outwards on either side. The wall itself stands approximately 2 metres high and features a brick coping.
