Description

Nos 1 to 15 (odd) and Nos 2 to 18 (even) on Queen's Street include No 9 Otley Road. This is a street of two terraces of model workers' cottages, built in the mid-19th century. The cottages are made of stone and are two storeys high, featuring a slate roof with blocked eaves. The doors have been modernised and are set in recessed segmental arches. Each cottage has one window on each floor; some have sash windows while others have modern casements, all with stone sills and lintels. There is a moulded stone panel on Nos 1 and 2 that displays the street name in Roman lettering.
