Description

A pair of gate piers located approximately 30 metres south-east of Low Hall, dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed from sandstone ashlar and stand about 3 metres high on low plinths. Each pier features shallow pilasters on either side and a continuous raised impost band. The frieze above the pilasters is adorned with volutes, and there are rosettes at each end. The piers have an overhanging cornice with a flat top and urn finials.
