Description

Keeper’s Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century, and it was raised, altered, and extended in the 19th century. It is constructed of squared sandstone with boxed eaves, a pantile roof and a red brick stack. The house follows a lobby-entry plan with a service range set parallel to the rear. A central 20th-century door features six raised and fielded panels. It has 12-pane sash windows throughout with painted stone sills. The openings are topped with bordered herringbone-tooled lintels. A central stack rises from a steeply-pitched roof. The property is included in the listing for its group value.
