Description

Green Royd is an early or mid-19th century brick house located on Studley Road, Ripon. The house is constructed of brown brick with a slate roof. It is two storeys high and features a moulded eaves cornice. The front elevation has three bays, each with sash windows containing glazing bars and surrounded by channelled stucco voussoirs. One bay on the ground floor has a canted design, topped with a moulded eaves cornice. The entrance is marked by a door with fielded panels and a semi-circular fanlight set within a pedimented surround. Flanking the main house are one-storey extensions that incorporate parapets which ramp upwards to meet the roofline of the main building.
