Description

Rudston House is an 18th-century house located on the north side of Little Market Place in Masham. It is constructed of rubblestone with a rendered finish and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and four bays. The third bay contains a four-panel door with a four-pane overlight, set within a wooden surround that includes pilasters on plinths, a frieze, consoles, and a cornice. To the left of the first bay, there is a four-step mounting block. The fourth bay features a canted bay window with a stone sill and cornice. The remaining windows are sash windows with glazing bars and stone sills. The house has stone coping, renewed brickwork, and end stacks, as well as one stack on the ridge.
