Description
These are a pair of mid-19th century red-brick houses with ashlar dressings, situated on Palace Road in Ripon. The houses have hipped and pyramidal slate roofs. They are two storeys in height, with three-storey towers projecting from the side elevations. These towers feature paired round-arched sash windows on the second floor. The remaining windows are segment-headed sashes, except for full-height gabled projections above each front door, which feature round-arched sash windows. The front doors are round-arched, with fanlights, moulded jambs, voussoirs and richly sculpted keystones and impost bands.
