1 Finkle Street is an 18th-century building with a stucco exterior and a hipped, sprocketed pantile roof. It stands two storeys tall and features rusticated quoins. The façade facing Finkle Street has six bays, while the side facing Gowthorpe has two bays, both with cased sashes that include glazing bars. The building also has modern shop-fronts.
