Description
Holmside is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed limestone and features a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and two first-floor windows. The quoins are decorated with herringbone tooling. To the right, there is a six-fielded-panel door with a radial fanlight set beneath a keyed stone arch. The windows throughout the house are replacement sashes with glazing bars, all positioned beneath flat stone arches. A moulded cornice runs along the top, and there is a rebuilt stack at the left end as well as a ridge stack.
