Description
Worsley Arms Farmhouse and Cottage is a house and cottage dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed limestone with a pantile roof. The central-entry house is located to the right, while the cottage is to the left, featuring a single-storey extension at the extreme right. The building stands two storeys high and has three first-floor windows. Each dwelling has a six-panel door with a divided overlight above it. The windows are replacement sashes with glazing bars, all set beneath flat stone arches. There is a fire insurance plaque above the central first-floor window. The building has end and ridge stacks. The single-storey extension includes three two-light Yorkshire sashes, with the ones on the left under timber lintels and the one on the right being taller and set beneath a flat stone arch. The extension also has a ridge stack.
