Description
23 St Hildas Terrace is a late 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall with a basement, constructed of brick. A modern attic has been added above the cornice. The central part of the house features a pediment and a slight projection, along with a dentilled cornice. The basement is rendered below the band and has windows with glazing bars. The façade includes a 1-3-1 arrangement of double-hung sash windows, with the central window slightly projecting forward. There is a central Venetian window with one cill, and the middle window is round-arched with a keystone. The entrance is framed by a Doric doorcase with an open pediment and a round-arched fanlight that has Gothic glazing. The door is half-glazed. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 25, along with a garden wall and gatepiers, contributing to the overall historical value of St Hildas Terrace.
