Description
The dovecote located north-east of Harlsey Hall dates from the early 18th century and has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a Welsh slate roof. The structure has three storeys, with the upper storey being refaced. The south side includes a doorway with a small later square opening beside it. Above this is a blind oval opening adorned with four keystones. There is a stepped band at the first floor, which also has a small three-hole dove opening, and a similar stepped band at the second floor. The top storey is blind, and the eaves feature a stepped and dentilled band. The other sides of the dovecote have similar keyed, blind oval openings at the ground and first floors.
