Description

The churchyard cross, located approximately 3 metres to the east of the south porch of All Saints Church in Sherburn in Elmet, is a Grade II listed structure. It likely dates from the 17th century and features a probable earlier crosshead. Made of magnesian limestone, the cross stands about 1 metre high and has a truncated shaft with a decorated wheel head, along with a portion of the carved base of the stone cross.
