Description

Nos 7 to 10, St Hilda’s Terrace are a late 18th-century terrace of two-storey brick buildings. The roofs are tiled with pantiles, except for No. 7, which has slate and modern dormers. Each building has three sash windows. No. 7 features a glazed ornamental fanlight over its doorway; the other doorways have simple flat arches. No. 8 has a modern door and dormers. No. 9 includes a later dormer, a six-panel door with a plain rectangular fanlight above it. No. 10 has a 19th-century stone canted bay window and a later doorcase with plain pilasters. The buildings are part of a larger group which includes the gardens wall and gatepiers. They are recognised for their group value.
