Description
Old Farm Farmhouse is a farmhouse, probably dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of whitewashed rubble and has a stone slate roof. The building features a two-room baffle-entry layout, now accessed through the right-hand gable end, although the former doorway is blocked and still visible. The farmhouse is two storeys high, with double chamfered mullioned windows; the ground floor has four lights, while the first floor has three lights, except at the right-hand end where a 19th-century door has been converted into a two-light window. There is an additional unmoulded doorway with a flat stone hood supported by consoles at the left-hand end of the front. The farmhouse has a single ridge stack. Inside, the interior has been largely altered but retains stop-chamfered spine beams in the right-hand room. A 19th-century extension to the left is not included in the listing.
