Description

The gazebo, located approximately 20 metres north of Ashton House, is believed to have been inscribed by W. Yates in 1791. It features rubble walls and a slate roof, and is square in plan with two storeys. The ground floor has a door on the south side, while the upper floor includes a blocked opening on the east side and a door with a semi-circular head, which is accessed by a flight of stone steps on the west side. The structure has castellated gables and was overgrown with ivy at the time of the survey, making it difficult to examine the details.
