Lowther House and its integral barn, located at 26 Foster Street, date back to the 18th century. Originally a farmhouse, the building features a roughcast exterior over stone. It has three doors and a round-arched entrance with a keystone leading to the barn. The house includes a double sash window on the ground floor and two double sash windows above, along with arrow slits in the barn.
