Description

This is an 18th-century building on Chapel Street in Appleby-in-Westmorland. It is slightly taller than the adjacent property at No. 7. The exterior is roughcast and pebbledashed. The building is two storeys high, with six windows on the ground floor and eight above. The windows originally had glazing bars, but these have been removed. A depressed archway serves as a carriage entry, located between Nos. 9 and 10. No. 10 has a lean-to porch. A round-arched window is visible at the rear, providing access to the staircase.
