Description
The former front range of Rayson Hall is a house built in the 18th century as a new front to the hall, but it has been internally separated from the original 17th-century house since 1983. The exterior features incised stucco with rusticated quoins at the southeast corner, and it incorporates earlier walling and a plinth at the northwest. The building has a hipped roof made of graduated slate and corniced stone end chimneys. It is two storeys tall with four bays. To the right of the centre, there is a panelled door flanked by sashes with glazing bars in stone surrounds, including one above. The interior retains few original features.
