Description

The cross base located to the south of St Michael's Church is a Grade II listed structure, likely dating from the medieval period. It has a square plan and features a large block with chamfered top edges, which rests on a low step made of three rectangular stones. At the center of the block is the stump of an octagonal shaft, which has stop-chamfers. Additionally, there is a small brass sundial plate on top of the block, although it is missing its gnomon.
