Description

This is a row of four houses, numbered 4 to 8 Scotch Street, built in the 18th century, and dated to 1814. The houses are stuccoed and arranged over three storeys. They have old flagstone roofs and brick chimneys. The corners of the row feature in-and-out quoins. Number 6 has an elliptical fanlight above its doorway, featuring a keystone and shell ornament. The windows on the first and second floors of numbers 4, 5, and 6 have moulded architraves. The windows originally had glazing bars, but these have since been removed. Numbers 1 to 10 Scotch Street, along with numbers 28 to 30 Roper Street, are designated as a group.
